I'm baaack!

LOL..you probably didn't even know I was gone LOL.

Well, my dears, I was gone for a ...... full 7 days, to Chambersburg, PA., anybody live nearby? Cause next time I come up there, I might just visit you, if you allow me or wants to. (No, I won't stalk ya!) LOL. :-D

but, oh boy! it was cooo-old up there! But I did went for a walk with my sister in law for two days straight, and I walked by myself for another two days straight (she has to go back home after Easter weekend.)

That is where we spent our Easter weekend, and also stayed there for days to help my mom-in-law. It was not easy when it came time to leave-- my husband was really sad to leave her, because she is alone now, but she have lots of friends who constantly checks on her, so far, she's doing fine.

The first thing I did when I got back to my home oh so sweet home? I ran to Walmart (well, actually, I drove to get there) and got me some flowers to plant LOL! Then I got a call from my part time work from a co-worker who needed her shifts covered, so I came to her rescue yesterday (Sunday.)

Then today, I worked in my yard, and I'm so glad I did. So most of the front yard is done. I planted Marigold seeds, which are sooo easy to grow. I cannot wait to do my backyard. I love to garden.

ok...I'm off to read journals... 'cause I miss 'ya all.

BIG HUGS,
Gem :-)

Chambersburg, PA!  LOL wow that's pretty close.  I'm in Hanover, about 10 miles on the other side of Gettysburg...
Glad you got your plantin' done! Or at least started... Don't think Ma's gonna let me this year.

I'm glad you are home safe and sound from your trip.  Hope your mother-in-law is doing okay.  I can't wait to start planting and working in my flowers, but it just won't stop raining here.  I'm slowly making my rounds of J-land.  I'll try to catch up on the rest of your entries soon.

Good to see you again.....I wish I could plant flowers but it is still way too cold.  Enjoy your plantings!

Spring has been so reluctant to just settle in and stay here.  It's frustrating.

Wish I'd known - I bet I'm right on the way from where ever you are to Chambersburg - you and hubby could have stopped by!
