weird...

I slept in today and dreamt.

In my dream, I have some of the people I know (family, relatives) and met new ones (friends) around me or in my dream. I was happy and conversing with them. One new friend told me to just jump below and enjoy the pool (she said: "jump into the pool!..it's gonna be fun!")
I was feeling afraid to jump because I was afraid I'm going to hurt or break my feet upon landing (from atop, a few feet high that look further but not too high that I cannot see the pool) what was coming through my mind (while dreaming) was a feeling/thought of  "I'm going to hit the ground instead and break my feet bones to pieces then I won't be able to walk."
Even though I was feeling scared, I took the jump, and it felt like a "looong" jump (no, it didn't felt like "flying"..it felt like hitting the bottom feet first) from where I started and then when I hit the bottom/ground I did not feel anything, my feet did not felt like it touches anything at all...except when I landed I saw that I landed not in the pool but on the ground overfilled with water coming from the pool, it was up past my ankle but not past the knee. In my dream, I felt surprised that I didn't hurt myself at all.

There were more "scenes" in this dream, but in the end, I felt happy or more like a feeling of satisfaction that I didn't hurt myself and that I'm enjoying a company.

I am starting to think/believe that we do have past life. Why then would we "see" things, people, scenes, "feel" feelings in our dreams?

{oh it's in color too. The color of the ground was light blue, stripes, it was tiles, there were brown colors, [I didn't see the color of my clothes,] but I saw the other's...there was a trash bag, teddy bear, I was driving a car (having fun and looking forward to my destination which was the company at the pool)...}

weird....interesting.....

anyway, I'm going to work in about half hour..and I don't feel like it..ugh! so much for enjoying the company in my dream.

:-)

Want to really crank up the vividness of your dreams?  Take melatonin.  I have never experienced so many wild dreams as when I pop that pill an hour before bedtime.

Well...let's see...
LIGHT BLUE is representative of a beginning development of spirituality; one's intitial recongnition of sensing an actual relationship with the divine.  STRIPES indicate duality; multiple perceptions of one element; unpredictability. TILE relates to versatility. The POOL relates to one's quality and quantity of goodness; level of humanitarian interaction with others.  And JUMPING OFF OF A PLACE comes in dreams as a symbol  that marks a beginning point.  The TRASH BAG cautions one to throw out the life aspects that are useless; keeping oneself unburdened.  And finally a TEDDY BEAR is a soothing and comforting aspect in one's life.

Is that any help?

I think the fact you jumped, shows your beginning to have some faith in the people around you and allowing yourself to trust. In order to do either of those things , you have to believe in yourself first. I see that coming to past more and more as I read your words. Stay safe and loved dear friend. (Hugs) Indigo

I'm no dream interpreter but maybe your willingness to jump even though you were hesitant is an indication that you are learning to trust some of your own judgements about yourself and the world around you.  Just a thought.

Happy Weekend Gem!

Ahh, trying to figure out dreams.....well, I have no diagnosis:o)
I'm just amazed you remembered it in such vivid terms. Or perhaps I'm jealous you remembered with such clarity. I rarely remember even a speck of my dreams, so kudos to you.

I love when I have a dream that stays with me for a while.  I kind of feel like I've just been involved in a good movie or something.  Probably sounds a little strange.
Your dream sounds very interesting - and you woke up happy so that is a good thing.  May you have many more wonderful dreams.  :)

It's actually good that you remember your dreams, I rarely remember mine. Wonder why that is...some people have vivid memories and others nothing.  Be well, love...Sandi

The car is often a symbol of your body. You like to be with your friends. WAter is often a symbol of emotions. I am not  a dream expert, just basing what I know about dreams in my own life. Considering that your friends were encouraging you to jump in, and that you were feeling a bit anxious about it, you might ask yourself if there isn't something going on in your waking life that you are anxious about 'jumping' into. If bring this thing that causes anxiety and fear to your friends, to get their opinion, they may offer you encouragement. Judging from the dream, you trust and value your friends' suggestions, and you jumped in... you were surprised that you didn't get hurt. Perhaps your friends will also encourage you to jump into something that you've been afraid of, maybe you need their words of advice, their suggestions. You may be surprised, then, that what you feared will not take place, but that you will land on your feet, unhurt, unbroken, whole, and delighted. Dreams often help us make decisions that we are incapable of during our waking life. Dreams give us opportunities to explore areas of our potential that we fear to dive into when we are awake. What we accomplish successfully in a dream, when applied to a similar situation in our waking life, can be repeated. Look at it metaphorically. You felt happy that you didn't get hurt, you were with your friends... . Since it made you feel good, I'd hold onto the memory. Bea
