Hello :-)

Here I go again..writing, posting and reading. I have been reading journals since 4 AM. I do like the new feature of AOL's entry alerts with the name of the journal showing, I find myself able to read most and catch up, though I did not leave comments to all journals that I've just read this morning. I just wish there's a way to know that I've visited and read them..maybe next time I'll just comment a "smiley" to let them know I've visited..Do you think that would be nice and appropriate?

I have been feeling OK to Good to Great lately...ups and down. Since coming home from the Lighthouse, I developed this feeling of anxiety and fear over going to sleep at night and over a medication. I've been doing a good job with meditation and self-assuring talk that all will be OK. Weird but that's how I feel as soon as 7 PM rolls around--meaning it's almost night and bedtime and for some reason I'd get anxiety and feeling of fear that I'm just not ready for the day to end.

My flower garden is doing well this year. The flowers from the seeds bloomed and they're actually bigger specially the flower Moss Rose, it's bigger this year-- maybe because I used the brand "Expert" to feed them..all in all it's a wonderful blooming garden for me this year --I look at it everyday... loving and enjoying the blooms.

I am also back in doing my beading jewelry and having fun with it also. I've made two necklaces and a few bracelets, also an anklet that I love to wear everyday..I'll take pictures and post it as soon as I can.

well, not much here for now. I'm getting wisdom and perspectives from reading other journals, so thank you Jland. I'll be back soon.

journally yours,
Gem :-)

Nice to know you are doing okay and working toward feeling good about you and your life.  Keep busy, keep focused and when you need a lift, come read about your friends and their ups and downs ... we are all so different and still so much the same.  :)

You're putting one step in front of the other and pretty soon you'll be running again in no time. Glad you're feeling better. Thanks for the update. I've been wondering how you are. And also thanks for stopping by my journal. I love your idea of putting the smiley face there. So many times I'll read someone's journal and not have time to comment or can't put into words what I want to say. I'd love to see your jewelry if you have time to post some pics for us. hugs, ~ Lori

It's great to hear from you again.  I think the smiley idea of yours is a good one.  Sorry for the evening anxieties, I hope you are able to work through this soon so that it does not remain a constant concern.  :)

Hi Gem,

It's really good to read another update from you. You are more than welcome to leave behind a smiley in my journal anytime! I'm glad that in your stuggle to overcome anxieties, you are giving yourself postive self-talk. All of us in Jland and beyond think very highly of you. No one on the face of this earth is a better friend.

Looking forward to some more of your pics!

Yours always,
))Tom

Gem,
Don't be afraid to seek out any kind of help there is, whether it be talk therapy or meds.  It can do you a world of good.  It won't cure your anxiety, but it will give you a way to lessen it somewhat.

Be strong.  Write if you'd like.

O Gem I love your idea of having some way to let someone know you visited, yet couldn't stop to leave a comment.   Use your creative gifts to think of something, eh?  That anxiety before bed is common, I get it too.  You can work with it.  Wish I could see that garen in person!  Didn't know you did bead-work, you must show us!  Thanks for the support too.  CATHY
