The Tale Of The Missing Entries

no, AOL, for once, is not playing trick on me. It was my computer's cache......my previous entries are still here. So, for once, I'm not going to blame AOL :-D

Anyway.......

I'm off today. Went to bed at 3 am last night....was too tired to get up this morning, too cold outside..and me being lazy, my 5 yr old missed his school
this morning.
(I know--shame on me.)

But he didn't mind..he is happily playing with his Transformers.

We both had waffles for lunch and he wants me to make rice for dinner.

I just remembered that earlier, while I was still laying in bed half awake, I started to think "gosh..I gotta get up and feed my son...." and he walked in with one piece of   bologna on a plate..I'm like.."aww.... geesh....my son is helping himself and learning to survive on his own" at 5 years of age. *grin* :-)

I must be doing good. :-D

I have not been out to malls or outlet since after the holidays just to walk around, browse, or window shop. I'm off this Saturday and that is what I'm planning to do. I still have some things I have to return/exchange from Christmas gifts..I just want to get that one done and over with. But, if I'm ask to come to work, most likely I will do that.

I woke up today, with
no cell phone and no car.

My 2 older kids took advantage of  my sleepiness this morning.

My 17 y.o. daughter took my van and my 13 y.o. son took my cell phone.

.......and my 5 y.o. is playing hooky.......thanks to me.

Wait 'till my conservative husband find out.

Ugh!

...................it's obviously not greener on this side today.......eh?!

Yours got to be better.
Gem :-)

Isn't it amazing what kids will do to you when your not looking? They tend to be like predators stalking, waiting until your at your weakest (tired, sick) and then they pounce. (winks) Have a great day hon, well as good as one you can get with no cell phone, no van , and a son playing hooky LOL. (HUgs) Indigo

Oh, I am having a laugh right now!  I think Gem, that you are having a great day!  I did not want to get out of bed this morning and found myself dragging all morning at work.

I think your children are as clever as you are.  ROFLOL!!!

Good morning. I am stopping by to thank you for visiting my journal." Hey Let's Talk." I meant to come by earlier but have a lot going on so was unable too. I enjoyed taking a stroll through your journal. It allowed me to get to know you a little better. I don't have a daughter who is bi-polar - a sister too, so I understand a little of all you go through. J-land is full of awesome, supportive people. But I'm sure you've figured that out already. This is short but got errands to do.Take care.
Have an AWESOME day.

that is cute with the cell phone and car gone; at least you can call the 13 y/o and ask him to bring it back after school; stay warm; I think a day off for a 5 y/o is a good thing!

My 5 year old godson cannot stand missing school. We had a snowday last Monday and he was like,"I have to go! It's Monday!"  I like your journal.  Maybe you can visit me sometime! -Dawn-

Oh I can remember having days like that. My kids loved it, I worked most of the time when I was a single parent so on the odd chance that I had a middle of the week day off...my kids wanted to be with me not in school. I didn't do that too much though, did not want to encourage "hooky". Take care, be well...love Sandi
