Thank You

Thank you to all who send prayers and warm thoughts our way. It is greatly appreciated.

My father -in-law was a good man. He was loved and appreciated by neighbors, friends, co-workers, and most specially by his family.

We will miss him dearly.

It had been very very tough on my mom-in-law and to all four kids, including my husband...but she's (mom-in-law) putting a brave front and told us her husband would want us all to be strong...more than ever.

again, Thank you so much and I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving to be shared and enjoy with by those you love.

Gem~

p.s.

when I announced the passing of my father-in-law, my family and I were on our way to Pennsylvania. That was Friday Nov. 9th, we got there about 3am Saturday morning. Viewing was on that Monday, Tuesday was funeral services, then Wednesday was burial.

I went home with my sister in law on Thursday which was about 7 hours drive to her home, then she took me and my youngest son home by Friday morning.

My husband and kids didn't get home until later that day.
(Friday, 11/16th)

I went back to work today and I'm doing.... sometimes good, sometimes ok.

HI sweetie...I was wondering where you were hiding.  Guess it's been a rough couple of weeks.  Enjoy your Thanksgiving, too and don't let the blues seep in.

I am sure it will be hard... I am sending you prayers that you will all be able to focus on celebrating your fil's life with joy, instead of in grief.

be well,

Soon, with the healing balm of time, the "sometimes ok" will revert back to the life you've known, with a small change that has its own value.  He is simply taking the next step on his journey called life, and it must be amazing.  xoxo CATHY
